The Hill Chronicles has learned California Governor Gavin Newsom, without the legislature’s approval, ordered over a Billion dollars of masks from the Chinese company with a long history of providing defective products and his office is refusing to provide legislature’s details of the deal.
The company, BYD, is an auto parts maker with a bad reputation, including a 2018 global recall from supplying fault airbags. The company has no experience making medical devices.
The Hill Chronicles has also learned Globalist Warren Buffet is a strong backer and 25% owner of BYD. China has been selling faulty masks and faulty COVID-19 test kits for months now but that’s ok with Warren. Hey, a guy has to make a buck.
The real question is, why the secrecy? Why order from a company that has a history of providing faulty products especially after what happened to the Netherlands.
In Late March the Netherlands had to recall 600,000 face masks from China due to low quality stating, Top-of-the-line N95 masks did not fit well and filters did not function properly. This comes after Spain asked for Covid-19 rapid test kits imported from China to be replaced because they were unreliable.
“Companies that normally to produce desk lamps made haphazard renovations to their workshops and began making masks. Do you think the quality is guaranteed?” a Hangzhou-based lighting exporter said.
In a matter of weeks, China is now the world’s biggest manufacturer and exporter of medical masks. Its 20,000 producers and distributors account for about half of the world’s total production, according to Shenzhen-based Forward Industry Research Institute, a major Chinese market research consultancy.
Of course, China never guarantees any quality standard. They are pumping out faulty masks, respirators, and ineffective disinfectants at a frantic pace. Cashing in on a media lead panic. They know they can always find a sucker to buy their garbage. This case it’s the United States Taxpayer.
No wonder Gavin won’t tell anyone the details of his deal.
